Squirrel Class Island painting

Over last term we planned and made our own islands using card, newspaper, tissue paper and lots and lots of pva glue. Over the Easter holiday the glue had dried and then we could paint them. The painting was a 2 stage process. The basic background colours of land, rocks, beaches and sea were done first and then we added the details the following week. They are now in display in the classroom and will be with you to keep at half term.
