Year 2 Nativity Performance at ‘the egg’ Friday 7^th December 2007

Dear Parents,

These are the arrangements that have been made so far for our exciting day at ‘the egg’ and we do need to ask for your help to make the day go smoothly.

We will be spending all day at the theatre and have a busy schedule to enable us to perform our play at 12.45pm. Our performance and use of the theatre has to fit around other commitments at ‘the egg’.

In order to be at ‘the egg’ to start rehearsals as soon as possible we will be leaving school by coach promptly at 9.00am. We will be unable to get latecomers to the theatre.

Please could all Y2 children arrive by 8.40am so that we can take the registers before we leave. They should enter through the side door by Mrs Claridge’s office.

Children should wear school uniform.

A packed lunch will be required but no drinks. A free packed lunch will be provided for those who normally receive a free school dinner.

We will provide some extra snacks during the morning and all drinks throughout the day.

The morning will be spent rehearsing and getting used to working in a real theatre, followed by the performance at 12.45pm.

Details about tickets are in the accompanying Christmas Special.

We will be walking back to school after the performance and children should be picked up at the normal time of 3.05pm.

Please return the attached permission form to enable your child to take part in this very special event.

There will be no charge for the coach travel.
