Year 2 Christmas
Celebration 2007
This year our Christmas celebration is called ‘The
Nativity.’ The children and
staff are preparing carols, music, dance and drama as part of this production.
In addition Year 2 have been working on aspects of
their performance with staff from ‘the egg’. We are looking forward to sharing this special celebration of the
Christmas Story with each other, families and friends of the school.
The performance of ‘The Nativity.’
for parents of Year 2 children is at ‘the
egg’ on
Friday December 7th at 12.45pm
Tickets for
this performance are available free of charge for parents and we would prefer
this to also be an adults only performance. As there
are only 100 seats we will be limiting tickets for ‘the egg’ to two per
family initially. However, we are aware some families would like more
tickets whilst some may only need one ticket. We have therefore, decided to ask
you to indicate on a class list how many tickets you require. We will try to be
fair to everyone in allocating the tickets. The lists will be displayed inside
the blue doors in the same place as those for parents’ evening. Please
sign up by the morning of Friday November 30th .
There should be some additional space at Wednesday’s Pre
School Performance : see below.
There will be an additional performance in
school on :
Wednesday December 5th at 1.45pm
This performance is especially for younger brothers
and sisters. We do ask that this is the only performance that pre school
children attend so that the remaining performances can take place with
the least amount of noise.
To help us plan numbers for this performance please
collect tickets from your child’s class teacher.

Cameras and Videos
Recording and photography is not
permitted at ‘the egg’. If you do wish to record the play during the pre school
performance please be as discreet as possible and take care not to block the
view of others. We will be taking some group photos which will be available to
order after Christmas.
