Christmas 2007 Special Edition

Year 1 Christmas Celebration 2007

This year our Christmas celebration is called ‘The Nativity.’ The children and staff are preparing carols, music, dance and drama as part of this production. We are looking forward to sharing this special celebration of the Christmas Story with each other, families and friends of the school.

The main performance of ‘The Nativity.’ for parents of Year 1 children is in school on

Thursday December 6^th at 1.45pm

All the children in Year 1 are involved (with Year 2) in our celebration but as you know our hall will only take a limited audience. In order to try and be fair to everyone we do have to limit space to two tickets overall per family for the main performance.

The tickets are attached to this letter. If you do not need both tickets we would be grateful if you could return them to the school office by Friday November 30^th so that they can be given to families who would really like an extra place. If you would like an extra ticket please sign the list outside your child’s class and we will do our best. There will probably be some extra space at the Wednesday performance too.

Pre School Performance

There will be an additional performance on :

Wednesday December 5^th at 1.45pm

This performance is especially for younger brothers and sisters. We do ask that this is the only performance that pre school children attend so that the remaining performances can take place with the least amount of noise.

To help us plan numbers for this performance please collect tickets from your child’s class teacher.

Cameras and Videos : if you do wish to record the play please be as discreet as possible and take care not to block the view of others. We will be taking some group photos which will be available to order after Christmas.
