Two of our parents ran in the 2007 Bath Half Marathon to raise money for our school.

To support them we held a mini half marathon in school on the Friday beforehand. We laid out a 13 metre course, one metre for each full mile of the half marathon and filled it with coins. At playtime each class ran its own mini one minute marathon around the course. On the day itself several of us gathered on the route to show our support for George and Chris with a banner and lots of cheering.
