Year 2 Nativity Project with ‘the egg’ at the Theatre Royal, Bath.

Oldfield Park Infants’ was chosen as one of only two schools to work with ‘the egg’ on a Nativity Project. Throughout November and December, Nick White from the theatre worked with staff and children to produce their performance ‘Jesus’ Christmas Party’ based on the book by Nicolas Allen.

The highlight of the project was the opportunity to perform the play live on stage at ‘the egg’ in front of a delighted audience of parents and friends. There was a surprise at the end when all the performers were sprinkled with ‘snow’ ! The school is continuing to foster its links with the theatre and hopes to be involved in a similar project in 2007.
