Our Hot Air Balloon Picnic

As a finale to the week the Stroud and Swindon Building Society organised a demonstration balloon inflation for us at Monument Fields. The weather was kind to us and we had a wonderful time both watching and helping with the balloon, although it was a little too windy to keep it inflated for long. Each class was able to gather around the balloon and experience the sound and heat of the burners which made most of us jump!

We finished our morning with a whole school picnic which we all enjoyed as well as the chance to use the huge field to play some of our favourite class games and use our sports equipment.
